Naked Retreats was the home of naked brand. The resort had 8 individual villas, 21 cozy rooms. The way the mud walls and wood beams made was the traditional architecture technology passed down for hundreds of years.

Nowadays in China, many people had teared down their home, destroyed countless old houses, then built cheap industrial replicas. The work we’d like to do the most is to repair the old architectures which left by our ancestors. The report (Title : The green buildings - building re-use in quantifying environmental values) of the heritage protection of the National Trust disclosed that to reuse the old constructions is almost always more resources saving than to tear down and rebuild. Through our design, we hope to let more people understand that old architectures are valuable assets, they are arts that accumulated by time.
